Tell us about yourself…My husband Jim and I have a small building on our property which is our store. We sell our Handmade Soap, Handmade Soy Wax Melts and Hand Painted Signs. I use stencil and freehand on each sign.
How and when did your business get started? We first made our Soap in 2008 and have been selling it since 2010. Many people, after being given a bar, wanted to buy our Soap. We had made and sold crafts & cupboards so we had a Open House and haven't stopped since!
What is your favorite product in your shop? Tell us how you came up with it. Our Soap! You can wash you head to toe with it! Yes, wash your hair & face with it. Each bar is the same recipe, it took me over a year to develop it. I can't say medically it does anything but, I have customers who use it for help with eczema/ psoriasis and others for acne.
What are your favorite things about being a vendor in a handmade market? Handmade is an art, a passion, a belief in what we do. Meeting all the different people being it customers or vendors and hearing their stories!
Give us 5 fun facts about you and/or your business…Everyday in this business is a surprise!
